Not a good site to host something like this - whether free or for retail. This time I did some "Bing" translation, and got the English language page - there is an option, but it's covered by one of those pop-up boxes. It appeared to want money - I don't know - I don't speak French and I wasn't going to press any keys that might commit me to "doing something bad" - so I got out of there, and didn't pursue the Map Tool until January 9th. The Discord link worked ok, but it took me to an "LFischer-something" website with big messages blocking half of the content - and all in the French language. To be honest - this is one of the reasons why I hadn't used 7D2DMPMG's little tool after I saw it in December. I'm not sure if these are in fact, the SP's, as they might also be some end-point of the new road system - a junction point or something - but if they are SP's - can you make them a little larger, please? After opening the png in PaintShopPro and increasing the color intensity/depth - I can see a pair of very small, yellow, crescent-shaped lines at the "T" junctions of the roads right near each of the Traders - which is the approximate location where I have spawned in each of the last five or six A20 RWG maps started. The building type area colour codes being listed along the bottom, along with the Traders being marked with circles - and named - is a real bonus. Other than that - this little tool has a number of unexpected features, and produces a very good map, and with (what I think are) "common sense" colours, too. (but I may also be blind.) It's not really an issue, as the spawnpoints xml gives them, and one can manually add them to the map. (There should be 13 in this map.) I have zoomed in tight and scrolled every piece of the map, yet don't see one. unlike the random generated maps which is 8k infinte and taking a long time (creating one right now).Super tool! I had only one issue - I see no bright yellow Spawn Points on my first (and only) map yet. I always played on the zuhehi territory map which so far is 8k non infinte. I just never had a clear understanding of what the maps had to offer. I ain't actually new at the game with a total of 86hrs so far. Game name functions as a seed for Navezgane, and changes your spawn location, and ground clutter randomness and some other random stuff But the terrain, building locations and other such stuff is in the same place every time. As I said earlier, It's a custom made map- Devs created it from one edge to the other by hand. Since you seem fairly new I'd say play Navezgane. This is either good or bad depending on your preferences. But, After you've played on it enough, you essentially know where everything is, And if you keep playing on it beyond that point, even on a fresh start, you can start to recognize -exactly- where you spawned and know exactly where to go and what to do to get yourself settled. What map do you prefer playing on? the random generated map? Honestly, I adore Navezgane. The name is generated from the seed you input.Įssentially, Yes, That IS the RWG you're looking at And you can change the size between 4k and 8k atm (There is/was a 16k option too, but is currently disabled for reasons) One of mine for example is 'South Pudula County'. Random gen creates worlds that sound.suitably like a real place. Originally posted by Shurenai:Territory? Sounds like a random gen world you created.
